Knowles Contracting & Flooring had purchased a do-it-yourself web hosting service and soon discovered that it was more time consuming and difficult than they had imagined. After several months, they hired Linked In Design to create their website and ended up getting everything they wanted in about 2 weeks time - and it saved them money by handing over the hosting to us.

The Gas Guys had a do-it-yourself website for the last few years that never quite got done! We built them a new website that features their unique gas installation and repair services in Northern Virginia. While The Gas Guys get much of their current business from Servicemagic, this new website, combined with a Google Adwords campaign, will provide them with another marketing channel.

Saint Philip Church in Rudolph, Wisconsin asked us to create a website for them that would allow them to post their bulletins, keep their congregation up to date on current events, and provide information to the community. We built the site so that they can update it themselves every week with news and events and organized it with the most frequently requested information on the home page where it can easily be found.

Jim Crowley worked for a popular Northern Virginia plumber for many years until they went out of business. He decided to start his own business and came to Linked In Design to build him a website. Kate Lewis has recently started a Montessori Children's House which provides Montessori daycare for children. Kate initally requested us to build a website to provide prospective customers with information about her Montessori daycare business. We added a blog feature that allows Kate to provide her existing customers (the children's parents) with weekly updates on the activities, happenings and events and also to provide schedules and forms online. This has been enormously popular with the parents and was a nice side benefit of the new website.

eLation Images Wedding Photography had an existing website that was flash based. Flash websites cannot be viewed with iPhones and iPads, and the owner felt they were losing business because of this. They asked us to build them a new website that would still have the same appeal as their flash site but without using flash. We created a new site that is much faster loading, uses javascript instead of flash, and has much larger photos with transitions similar to flash-based sites.

Russel Lokun asked us to redesign his website. We gave it a complete makeover, with large photos, estimate forms and an entire section dedicated to Unilock brick pavers, one of Russel's specialties. We also created a Google Ad Words campaign for him, which he is using to replace his more costly Dex advertising.

Brothers Jim and JP Campion asked us to rebuild their website. They had been paying a monthly fee for their existing site, which had only 2 pages and didn't reflect their growing business. We built a new site and by eliminating the monthly fees, the site was able to pay for itself in just 7 months. We also built an Ad Words campaign for them and built a feature called "Ask the Arborist", both of which have turned out to be effective marketing tools.

This new company has a unique product that the owners developed themselves - vinyl drink labels that cling to beverages to identify your drink. They came to us in their early stages of product development and we worked with them through the entire process to ensure that their fulfillment process would be accommodated and that the website would reflect their product in the manner they desired. We built an E-commerce application that not only allows them to sell their products, but also provides a lot of information to their customers. We also helped to establish their Facebook Business Page and linked it to their website.

The law offices of Buzogany Marks & Mueller requested us to rebuild their website to create a more professional apearance. We built a site that can grow with them as their practice becomes larger. Plans are to add a video introduction in the near future.

Vital Products delivers medical equipment to insurance patients in the Chicago area. They asked us to invent a website to help mechanize their manual processes. We completely customized shopping cart software to allow them to capture all of the information needed to fill an order on-line. Buzogany Associates is a strategy and sales consulting firm based in Chicago, IL. One of the challenges facing small business websites is to keep the content current and interesting enough for return visits. We incorporated an RSS news feed that displays the current headline news as well as a current event page specific to Buzogany Associates. The inspirational photos make the site interesting and inspiring.

Cynergyze Consulting is a new business that specializes in Public Safety Interoperability - they help to design and implement the technology that allows regional police forces and other public safety organizations to communicate with each other across networks. The new website allows them to feature their services as well as information about this newly developing field.

Nancy Welch is an amazing woman who is a published author, public speaker and workshop instructor. Nancy has interviewed everyone from Oscar de la Renta to Tom Sellek and Phil Donahue, who incidentally, she sewed a rip in his pants for while he was still in them! Nancy's latest endeavor is a radio show that features a new recipe every day. We created a blog website to accommodate the every day changes needed to the site.

Mrs M manufactures gourmet holiday cookies for corporate gifts and ships thousands of cookies across the United States for corporate customers. As Mrs M has grown over the past several years, process improvements were necessary to keep up with the rising demand. We implemented new shopping cart functionality and integrated a merchant account with the payment system to allow a more seamless transition between order processing and production.

We rebuilt the PaNosh Catering website to give them a fresh new look for their fast growing Kosher Catering business in Buffalo Grove, IL. Photography was the key to this site as well as easy-to-find menus with lots of options and ideas. We created all new menus that are attractive and easy to read and use.

Press Syndication Group is a new venture that allows local newspapers within a state to pool their resources and stories in an effort to lower costs and improve news relevance. This website allows the owner to update the content frequently and also has a customized blog for the newspapers to share what they're working on for planning purposes.

We reinvented the Marya Taylor Interiors Website to feature the fabulous photography of their interior design work. Marya Taylor Interiors provides exquisite interior designs and interior decorating for customers in the North and Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. With a focus on the photography, we designed the site to be consistent with off-line advertising and to provide visitors a form for easy communications. We also added background music to provide a mood-set for visitors to the site.

We created this Portfolio Website for Holly DeGarmo to feature her photography portfolio. Holly designed the website herself and asked us to implement it. We re-built this Event Website using the latest in technology standards. This website changes often and, with over 50 pages, it needed some standardization that could be easily updated. Friends of Monroe Harbor is an organization dedicated to the preservation of the beautiful Monroe Harbor on Chicago's lakefront. We built a website that allows them to spread information about their cause and about the Harbor itself. With a mailing list sign-up as well as a contact form, the website is a perfect communication tool for a non-profit organization.

We designed the Duct Masters® Website and provided an on-line presence for them.

This is one of our best examples of putting your website to work for you. The owners advertise in the popular Save on Everything booklet, where their ad refers customers to the website to request a free estimate and use internet coupons. With no internet marketing expense, the site generates at least one viable lead per week via the estimate form. The site also allows the owners to refer their prospects to their website for informative process information saving them precious telephone time while giving their prospects both information and added incentives.

We built this event site for an outdoor Music Concert venue. We built promotional flyers and posters to advertise the event that tie in with the theme of the Website.
